St. Helen's Park is a historic North Surrey character neighbourhood built in the 1950's consisting of tree lined streets and period homes. This quiet neighbourhood is home to a proud, diverse community which came together to work with the city to "down-zone" the area, establishing limits on new house size and height, with the intent on protecting the uniqueness of the area.
St. Helen's Park is bordered by 127A Street to Park Drive & 100th Avenue to 104th Avenue.

I was privileged to attend today a multi-community association meeting with the Surrey Planning Department. This meeting was arranged by Grant Rice with very little time following his learning, quite by good fortune, that an effort to subvert zoning conditions within our neighbourhoods had occurred. It is my opinion that Grant is owed very heartfelt thanks by our communities for his most masterful management of the matters which followed, including today’s meeting; let us willingly offer to support his constructive efforts!
If not done already, please review Grant’s e-mail on the subject, including the attachment.
Stay tuned as more will likely follow.
